Botox solves many facial concerns

Wedding photos are permanent memorials that you’ll look back on again and again. Today’s modern medicine gives you tools to minimize any lines and wrinkles that can mar your appearance.

Botox can solve a variety of facial and neck problems that can make you look older, tired, or worried on your big day. It can help correct the following flaws:

Dermal fillers fill the gap where Botox doesn’t go

Perhaps your facial concerns involve loose skin or deep wrinkles that form grooves. Dermal fillers address the following issues:

If you’re new to Botox and fillers, you likely have many questions. When will you see a difference in your appearance? How long do Botox and fillers last? You want to know when you should schedule appointments.

When to schedule a Botox appointment

Plan for a Botox appointment about one to two months before the big event if you want to have results for pre-wedding festivities. You’ll see almost immediate results after a Botox treatment and have full results in 2 to 4 weeks. Regular Botox results last up to 4 months; individual results vary.

Many men and women now make Botox part of their regular beauty routines. If you have months to go before the wedding, you may want to consider this option.

You start with a regular dose of Botox and move to a lower maintenance dose called baby Botox. With regular use of the lower dose, you won’t need to come back for 4 or 5 months. Baby Botox provides a very natural appearance — your facial muscles won’t appear frozen.

When to schedule a dermal filler appointment

Schedule your dermal filler appointment one to two months before the wedding so that you have results for pre-wedding activities. Dermal fillers are longer lasting than Botox. Some last between 6 and 12 months, while others can last between 2 and 5 years

Juvéderm® Voluma™ fills out hollow cheeks and helps to minimize any fine lines and wrinkles around your nose and mouth.  You’ll see immediate results and more improvement in the coming weeks. This filler can last up to 2 years

Juvederm Ultra is a thin gel that works on fine lines and wrinkles. If you have deep facial lines and significant loss of volume in your cheeks, we may recommend Juvéderm Ultra Plus, which has a thicker gel. Both can last up to one year.

We may recommend another filler, Radiesse®, which helps fill out thin lips that look like pencil lines. We also use Radiesse to plump up the skin on your hands and cheeks and smooth out lines around your mouth. Radiesse fillers last about one year. You’ll see a difference immediately, with full results in a few weeks.

Do you have dark circles under your eyes even though you sleep well? We can minimize these with Restylane®, which can also be used for lips and wrinkles. Restylane fillers last between six months and one year. You’ll see full results in one week
